neonsforlights: The F35 is a single engine, Joint-Strike-Fighter (JSF) used as a multi-role aircraft. Used for air superiority or CAS missions. The F22 however, is a twin engine, air superiority aircraft used to achieve, you guessed it, air superiority over the AO. tl;dr One has one engine, the other has fucking two.
